For those of you who were not here for Loren's opening of our new museum exhibit ... Loren carved a special piece of boulder opal to house a vintage small boulder opal wolf carved by Jeff. The sculpture is titled "Transcending," and represents Jeff's spirit (as the wolf) cradled by Jeff's hands ascending to join his clan spirits (eagle and parrot) in the next world, surrounded by other spirits--bear, wolf, badger, mountain lion, etc. Loren felt this was a collaborative effort between himself and his father's spirit.
