Building stronger futures, one person at a time. Ready to make a meaningful difference in someone’s life? Transforming lives through the power of God's love.

We live out this mission by sharing the hope and love of Christ while meeting basic needs and offering long-term solutions that empower people toward a more stable future. Since 1954, we have been a source of hope for our neighbors in crisis: the addicted, homeless, hungry, and abused. We provide food, shelter, clothing, counseling, residential programs, and other resources that offer men and wome

“On June 9, 2009, I lost two fathers. I lost my dad… and I turned away from God.”

Grief has a way of changing us.

For Kristopher Land, the loss of his father to cancer started a journey through anger, heartbreak, loss, and ultimately, finding hope again when everything felt shattered.

This is a story about faith, loss, healing, and discovering that sometimes even when we feel abandoned… we are not alone.

“I was broken… but God restored me.”

Meet Henry.

After losing everything to addiction, Henry found himself on the streets—hurt, alone, and searching for peace. In his darkest moment, God made a way and led him to Steelbridge.

Today, Henry is rebuilding his life with faith at the center. He’s found peace, confidence, and a renewed sense of purpose—learning to let go of the past and step into who God is calling him to be.

His heart now? To help others, serve God, and turn his story into hope for someone else.

✨ You are not alone. God never leaves you.

There was a time I walked into Steelbridge full of uncertainty, fear, and questions about my future.

Now, that same season shapes how I serve others.

Because I remember what it felt like, I meet the men here with patience, compassion, and understanding. Sometimes the most powerful thing we can do is simply show up, listen, and remind someone they’re not alone.

God didn’t waste that season—He’s using it.

✨ My role is simple: stay faithful, stay available, and say yes.

“When you realize what truly matters, it can save you.”

Meet Jared.

After incarceration, Jared made the choice to step into something different. At Steelbridge, he’s learning how to process his emotions, stay sober, and build a life rooted in faith.

Today, he’s growing into a hardworking man, gaining skills in the electrical field, and learning what it means to stand on his own.

His goal is simple but powerful: independence, purpose, and a strong foundation in Christ.

✨ Real change starts from within.

“You never realize Jesus is all you need… until Jesus is all you have.”

Meet Natellia.

Before Steelbridge, life felt chaotic and uncertain. But in a moment of surrender, she chose something different—she chose life, faith, and a future rooted in Christ.

Now, surrounded by a community of sisters in Christ, Natellia is growing stronger in her faith and learning what it means to live in true victory.

This may be her third time here—but it’s also proof of something powerful: grace never gives up.

✨ Jesus is real. Jesus is faithful. And He is enough.

Baptism is a public confession of my decision to follow Christ. It signifies that the old me is gone, and a new me is born. Through faith, I’ve learned to see the world differently—through God’s eyes. I’m less focused on myself, and more focused on loving my neighbor.

My commitment to God has grown stronger, and following Jesus has taught me to truly love others as I love myself. His guidance and inspiration continue to shape the way I live each day.

My name is Joshua and before Steelbridge I was homeless. God brought me here. The most impactful part of my journey has been the family I have found. My sobriety has changed my relationship not only with God but with others, and my character and the love I share have improved. I hope to reconnect with my family in the future. Thank you, Steelbridge, you saved my life.

“This is not about me. It’s about Him.”

After years of addiction, homelessness, and running, God never left his side. Through every dark moment, His mercy carried him—and His grace transformed him.

Today, he’s living sober, rooted in God’s Word, and serving others at Steelbridge with compassion born from experience.

He doesn’t just see the struggle—he’s lived it. And now, God is using his story for something greater.

✨ By His grace, we are never beyond redemption.
