Another denim jacket I made a couple of years ago. On the back, I applied the rice paper and used a stencil I purchased from my friend Mara who owns VintageRetailTherapy.com in Fallbrook, CA. Mara has a private group within her FB page . My favorite of all stencils is Cottage Lace - Mara designed that stencil, and it is a fan favorite!
The lace flowers were cut from a dress I found at the Goodwill, and mauve fabric was from a little girl’s bridal party dress from the Goodwill. Rhinestones here and there to add some sparkle. I’ve actually worn this jacket and had compliments on it!😊

💗 I carefully cut the sleeves out of this white denim jacket, painted and embellished it. I cut the bottom portion of the jacket off and added this pretty lace! 💗
Maybe the sneakers I prettied up recently will look cute with this!😉

A little something fun! I decoupaged pieces of rice paper in these white sneakers. Look closer and you’ll see a little bit of rhinestone sparkle around the rubber edge. I’m thinking about getting the palest of pink shoe laces!

I really enjoyed painting this little chair I bought at the Goodwill about 6 years ago for $1.99.
I don’t decorate in this style in my home, but painting checks are very therapeutic for me. This chair may find its way to my Airbnb! 💜🐾🐾💜

Onward with check painting! This was a oval shape, shallow, silver bowl I decided to glam it up. It’s almost 12” across x 15”. I finished it with a high gloss sealer so it’s really shiny. Yes, it has the Mackenzie Child’s look.
I find painting checks a good distraction and a challenge!
