We are approaching the end of the state series and the points are tight!! We are looking forward to hosting the race this weekend and seeing how the points will shape up going into the finale. See you trackside!!

2026 Southwest showdown was Awesome! Appreciate everyone who made the trip out to Arcor! 107 entries made for some good racing! Track conditions were great!

It’s practice day for the 2026 Southwest Showdown!

Gates are open. We have power and water right now. Power is still limited!

Today is setup day for 2026 Southwest Showdown! Gates will be open at 4pm to start getting campers and pit trailers set up.

Friday 10am gates will open up for setup! Practice will start at Noon!

🚨🚨PLEASE READ🚨🚨 attention racers, we have an update for Southwest Showdown. On Friday 4/24 we lost power due to a blown transformer. The county does not know what caused this to happen but its effecting much the area. They haven't given us a solid update on repairs but they are currently working on repairs. This also means theres no power to the water pump at the water tank so we don't have water either. BUT we do have a plan in place and the race will go on.

We will have two 500 gallon water wagons on site as well as an industrial generator.
We are getting the equipment Friday morning.

This generator will power the tent city for pit lights and battery chargers ONLY

Heat guns, pit trailers, campers, will need to bring their own generators.

We are asking all racers to bring generators/inverters if you have them and share with your fellow racers if we all band together this will still be a great event.

This is an unfortunate hiccup noone had any control over.

We will post an update immediately if power is restored but for now this is the plan we are taking to keep this race happening.
