The Yerba Mansa Project is a 501(c)3 organization created by Albuquerque Herbalism Restoration ~ Education ~ Community

Our Mission:
1. Our Objectives:

To educate about medicinal plants, ecological issues, and our unique local bioregion.
2. To bring the community together through common interests and goals.
3. To contribute to the restoration of medicinal plants and their habitats, especially Yerba Mansa and the Rio Grande Bosque. To identify and adopt Open Space Lands within the Rio Grande Bosque that are suitable for the Yerba Mansa Project’s

This spring has been buzzing with life! Here are some of the beautiful plants that have been blooming this spring. We have a bee collecting from an russian olive (yellow bloom, invasive species although still food for local wildlife), currants(yellow blooms), sumac(reddish bloom), and wolfberry(white. pinkish blooms), and a bull snake.

Thanks to all of our Bosque Restoration Field Day volunteers! We worked to restore burn scars by removing ravenna grass from choking out willows as they begin to resurge and we re-seeded open areas.
