The De Anza Motor Lodge in Albuquerque, NM - A historic motel on Route 66, built in 1939 and abandoned in 2003. The building has since been demolished and is currently being redeveloped into a series of apartments and restaurants.

The Hughes Mining Barge, a submersible barge constructed for the CIA to salvage the remains of a soviet submarine from the ocean floor in the 70s. In the 80s it was abandoned but has since been repurposed as a drydock.
