Santa Fe Conservation Trust used Outdoor Recreation Trails+ Grant funding to contract local trail builders Rocket Ramps LLC to create a half-mile accessible trail in the Galisteo Basin that connects to another 4-miles of trails. The trailhead features ADA parking spaces, an ADA accessible porta potty, seating with shade structures, interpretive signage, and the entire loop features subtle grades, a smooth surface for mobility devices, and width large enough for adaptive cycles and for the hard-of-hearing to sign next to each other comfortably.
