A few weeks ago I reached my seventh year as a Marine, today I had the privilege to get pinned to the rank of Staff Sergeant. Being a Marine is not my whole identity, for I am too a daughter, a sister, an aunt and a friend. (And a recruiter) but having there my family, friends, leaders, my future marines and the love of my life is a full circle moment. Father, thank you, for this life you have blessed me with. That through the Marine Corps I have build this life you so graciously have allowed to keep 🫶🏽 oh and 🇺🇸🇲🇽 the beauty of being Mexican-American HAPPY BIRTHDAY MARINES 🫡

ON AUGUST 25, 2025 Poolee Carr enlisted in the United States Marine Corps.
Poolee Carr is a 2025 Graduate from Del Norte High School, this young man always knew he wanted to to become something bigger than himself and just three weeks ago he made the first official steps to make that happen.

Walt Disney did say, “All our dreams can come true, if we have the courage to pursue them”. 💪🏽

ON MAY 31ST 2025 Poolee Atsitty enlisted in the United States Marine Corps. For the last few months he has worked diligently while in the Delay Entry Program, he has prove himself to be in the right place and challenge himself to change his life.

Next step is preparation, let’s get it 💪🏽

You have been here at our office for months, working hard and committed. Now that the door is finally open, without hesitation you were ready to officially take the next step. I am in awe, that at such a young age you know that The Marine Corps if your calling. Something I didn’t discover until half way through my senior year, you already knew. All eyes on you now, continue to strive to be the best you can be, I look forward to see what this year will bring you and for you to become one of The Fewer, The Prouder. 💪🏽

Today begins the official journey of Poolee Madrigal and Poolee Chavez to Recruit Madrigal and Recruit Chavez.
The past couple of months I have had the opportunity to see you both grow and prepare for this very moment. For both SSgt Lastic, SSgt Duran and myself, seeing you all finally be able to go through your journey to become United States Marines. We will see you in thirteen weeks, congratulations 🎉
