The past few months have honestly been A LOT.

While dealing with this incredibly stressful visa process, my 13-year-old dog, who only has one kidney, ended up back in the hospital fighting for her life. Being so far away and not being able to be there with her and my family has been one of the hardest and most helpless feelings. There were days I couldn’t sleep, couldn’t eat, and couldn’t focus on anything else.

At the same time, my visa journey became way more complicated than I ever expected. So many unexpected issues came up, I spent an insane amount of money trying to get everything sorted out, and there was so much uncertainty about what was going to happen next.

There were a few days when I completely signed off from everything. I was overwhelmed, depressed, and just living in fear. So if I’ve seemed a little quiet or disappeared lately, that’s why.

But I truly believe that after every storm comes a rainbow. Going through all of this has made me appreciate everything in my life so much more.

I’m beyond grateful for everyone who checked in on me, cheered me up and helped me get through these past few months. You have no idea how much it meant to me!
