As a Damage Controlman (DC) in the U.S. Coast Guard. You’ll master the trades that keep the fleet afloat welding, plumbing, carpentry and emergency response.

From maintaining systems onboard cutters to leading rapid damage control during crises, DCs are the hands on problem solvers who protect their shipmates and the mission. 💪

🛠️ Ashore, you’ll apply your skills maintaining base infrastructure and supporting Coast Guard facilities nationwide.

If you’re ready to build, repair, and respond under pressure this is the job for you.

𝐉𝐑𝐎𝐓𝐂 𝐂𝐎𝐑𝐄 𝐕𝐀𝐋𝐔𝐄𝐒 𝐀𝐖𝐀𝐑𝐃: JROTC students put in some serious effort both physically and mentally on top on their regular course studies. Many days they do this on their free-time. To recognize their efforts their instructors can nominate two students a year to receive the Coast Guard Core Values Medal and we love when we get to present these in person!

We welcome our newest CS to the Coast Guard. SN Patton will be reporting to CS “A” School on Monday and ready to tackle the world’s best military culinary program.
