Then, I drifted off because passing that building on the corner always takes me away in my head but eventually I asked
"Why?"
And he said
"That coffee place we just passed is called that."
And then I was lost for maybe another mile in thought regarding correlating dreaming - sleeping - with coffee but I was so taken with how we were and that he liked it and thought it was sweet so I said -
"It is really very nice"
"We should go there"
"Yeah we should"

(This kind of artist I'm not but I appreciate Inktober for giving me the drive to create every day in a way outside my comfort zone)

Using the scrap pieces of larger exotic wood pieces to turn into something tiny and beautiful appeases the 1920s depression-era hoarder demons in my soul.

Working with wood is always my personal happy place but unless I'm making something for myself I struggle to find the line between time investment and marketability.

Either way, making these little friends feeds my soul.

This has been the most delightful, potentially delicious, love-hate relationship with learning the art of the forbidden gummies.

I, personally, hate plastic and birthing new plastic felt wicked. I'm pretty sure it's this attitude that caused my first attempt to explode.

I'm also pretty sure that doesn't happen to everyone.

But the evil has become addictive and now we can't get enough of our little friends. We are thinking of tiling a wall in the house with them....

I want to be in a college bookstore picking out a notebook while it's raining outside

Maybe it's the change of seasons.
Maybe it's the cool invigorating
Maybe it's the thinning of the veil

But it's time to create and learn and hearth and harness that wirey energy

We're using it to launch a small home-made craft business. Pulling in all the talents we have pulled between us
We're meeting in our partnership the spectrum between wool and wood, wild and modern, earth and bones... and cardboard?
