In collaboration with local and national partners, we work to increase voter participation and turnout; we identify and train new leaders for civic life.

As an innovator in the civic engagement sector we involve hardworking New Mexicans in the public policy decisions that affect their lives to strengthen the stability of hardworking families. Based in Albuquerque, New Mexico, the Center for Civic Policy (CCP), a nonpartisan tax-exempt 501c3 organization, strives to involve everyday New Mexicans in the public policy decisions that affect their lives

Our 2026 Pride Events Guide just dropped 🏳️‍🌈✨

As q***r and immigrant youth, we hear many discouraging things online, behind closed doors and out in the open. Things that remind us that maybe we don’t belong, or that we are to blame for the detriment of a society, or that we are not normal or that there are no viable careers or ways for us to actually thrive. The legacy of the NMDT has been to reject those notions and to be bold enough to create and fight for our own opportunities here in the state of New Mexico.

This is why we encourage our community to join us at any of these events happening in Albuquerque and Las Cruces, to create the spaces that our q***r and immigrant youth deserve!
