We are deeply saddened to announce that a respected Elder and key member of our Birthing Project, who played a significant role in our organization following their freedom, has passed away to join the ancestors.

Dear Birthing Project Family,

Our dear SisterFriend, Ms Cynthia Boyd, is now an ancestor. We pray that she rests in the joy and healing she has brought to her community for so many years…as she loved, nurtured and served as Founding Director of the San Diego Birthing Project.

For more information regarding her memorial service, please contact Shelley Winn, Executive Director, at [email protected].

Respectfully,
Ms Kathryn

October is Pregnancy and Infant Loss Awareness Month 💙💖

At Birthing Project USA, we honor the precious lives lost and stand with families who have experienced the unimaginable pain of losing a baby. This month, we come together to break the silence surrounding pregnancy and infant loss, providing a supportive space for healing, love, and remembrance.
No one should walk this journey alone. We are here to offer support, connect families, and raise awareness about the importance of maternal and infant health for all communities. Let’s continue to work toward improving outcomes and uplifting one another.
