Father. Grandpa. Sports fanatic. Bernalillo County DA. Running for Governor to fight for all New Mexicans — and I’ll never back down.

Nothing softens a tough day faster than a hug from these little ones.

As governor, I will build an economy that works for people not against them because I’ve never backed down from hard fights, and I won’t start now.

For too long, communities across New Mexico have been promised change and left waiting. I’m running for Governor because every family, every tribe, every community deserves leadership that actually shows up, listens and delivers results.

New Mexico’s Native communities deserve more than speeches and photo ops. They deserve action, partnership, respect, and a seat at the table. Together, we’re going to build a safer, stronger future for every corner of our state.

At a moment this serious, New Mexicans deserve more than “uhhh…” and vague talking points. They deserve leadership. I’m ready to fight back against Trump, defend our families from ICE abuses, and move this state forward with a real plan and real experience.

Showing up matters. Listening matters. Answering questions matters. It's becoming clear, only one candidate in the Democratic Party is doing that. If you have a plan for our state to succeed, you should have nothing to hide. Being the governor of our great state is not a right, it is not a gift, it is not a coronation. It is a duty to every man woman and child in this state to forge a path to a better future. If you can't share that, can't discuss that, can't stand up for that, what is your agenda?

Al Hurricane Jr. was more than a musician he was part of the heartbeat of New Mexico. His songs carried our stories, our joy, and our history, and his loss leaves a real emptiness across our state. My heart is with his family and all who loved him. May his memory be a blessing, and may his music continue to bring comfort and unity for generations to come.

Some of the best people in New Mexico work inside our schools. Loved being back at Sunset Mesa today my kids’ old school talking with students and bringing lunch to the teachers who deserve so much more than thanks.

New Mexico deserves a governor who’s invested in New Mexico.

While so much of Deb Haaland’s campaign money comes from out-of-state donors, my support comes from the people who live here, work here, raise families here and believe in the future of our state.

I’m running to bring communities together, support local businesses, strengthen education, tackle crime, fix CYFD, and finally move New Mexico forward with real solutions not politics from Washington.

This campaign is powered by New Mexicans because this fight is for New Mexico.

At a time when Trump and the far-right are attacking working families, our rights, and our future, New Mexico cannot afford a governor who hides from debates and avoids unscripted conversations. Leadership takes backbone. Leadership means showing up. And that’s exactly what I’m doing in communities across this state.
