Working on “Will you lay with me” by Nathan Aaron Hancock. I’m loving how this one turned out. A cappella’s are deceivingly difficult to track/mix/master. Proper mic and outboard gear selection is paramount. High noise floor can absolutely destroy the song. Improper compression settings can bring forward undesirable elements. Terrible reverb can make an emotional song sound cheesy.. The list goes on. But having such a talented singer as makes it a lot easier.

Reamping today and tried this little technique (That I discovered scrolling through reels) to get a little more control over my Low frequencies. Needless to say it was a success. But remember, ALWAYS CHECK YOUR PHASE!
