We run chess programs in ABQ and LA for the purpose of helping kids grow for success in school and in life. Curricula are specialized to kids' skill levels.
During the school year, we run chess programs around New Mexico and during the traditional school breaks, we run week-long chess camps during the day. Specific topics we cover include:
Learning the moves and rules
Openings
Middle Games
End Games
Tactics
Chess Puzzles
Thinking skills
Learning Skills
Mindfulness Skills
and of course we play lots of chess games and fun variations of chess games like

Chess in the Parks ABQ is kicking off in 10 days! Join us at the Albuquerque Downtown Growers' Market on April 25th and then every 2nd and 4th Saturday! Also, every 3rd Sunday from May through August, we'll be at Rail Yards Market ABQ!
And July 18th we will be at the Santa Fe Farmers' Market!
