Title: Post-Human Reverence

This piece explores the absurdity of our evolving mythologies—how we worship the future while scavenging the past. A fragmented classical torso stands as the central figure, decapitated of identity and fitted with a gas mask—part survival gear, part sacrament. Pierced through the skull by a blood-tipped arrow and rigged with a glowing biotech vial, it floats between sacrifice and science, ritual and redesign.

At the base, a miniature David snaps a selfie with a casual thumbs-up. No sword, no Goliath—just self-regard and signal. He isn’t resisting the collapse—he’s endorsing it.

This is a reflection on what we now immortalize: aesthetics without purpose, evolution without ethics, and a culture that claps for its own undoing. The question isn’t whether the future is coming—it’s what we’re applauding on the way there.
