Our second week of our Fall Break Camp Kinergy (virtually via Zoom) continues today and tomorrow! Today, Thursday, October 15, we are baking oatmeal banana chocolate chip cookies and tomorrow, Friday, October 16, we are going on an outdoor scavenger hunt!
We're back for a virtual "Fall Break Edition" of Camp Kinergy!
We know there are varied Fall Break schedules for different schools and districts. We will be repeating two days of camps, for two weeks: Thursdays and Fridays, October 8+9, and October 15+16.
Pick which week you can join, and then get ready for Camp Kinergy Cooking Corner (Thursdays) and an Outdoor Science Scavenger Hunt (Fridays).

A little recap of our Marble Maze task for the elementary aged kiddos! We had a lot of fun creating our maze projects yesterday for a whole 90 minutes! Great work!

and Nusenda Foundation for sponsoring our Camp Kinergy virtual camp classes, and helping us continue to provide services in this time of crisis. The kids we serve are resilient and creative. They have learned so much (while having fun!) over the last few months. We look forward to continuing to "move and make" with them all summer.

All Together New Mexico Fund All Together Fund was established by the New Mexico Coalition of Community Foundations to help New Mexico respond to and eventually recover from the COVID-19 pandemic.
We are so sad there won't be any 'Topes games this year, but we are very grateful to their staff for helping us in May with our Camp Kinergy project! The Albuquerque Isotopes have been putting their community first, even, and especially, during these trying times. Thank you!

Our virtual cooking class is on Wednesday, June 17th at 11:00am MST. This class is for all ages!
Preparing (and eating) simple snacks together is a GREAT way for kids to learn great self-care and fine motor skills, learn more about their taste preferences, and be willing to try new foods!
