I made these tarot cheatsheets for anyone studying, where you can learn by suit & number. These are simple keyword definitions, but the energy behind each card is actually multifaceted. This just gives you a quick birds-eye view of the patterns in tarot. Did you notice 10 (completion) in the Wands suit is “burden” while the Pentacles show success? These are the kinds of things you can see more clearly laid out like this, and it helps you raise your own questions and study plan from there.

These tarot cards are similar visually, but the messages are different. Even if you don't read tarot, you can learn from the symbolism just letting the cards speak to you.

Two of swords (left) talks about indecision. Why is she facing forward? What does that represent do you think, in contrast to the kneeling Star?

The Star (right) is about healing.

They both feature night time, water, hands, and celestial beings.

What do you see?

Sigils are automatic markers of the present moment attached to each entry in my modern Book of Shadows app called Neumoire—like the current moon phase and the song you're listening to.

These are some of my favorite ones in the app. There are 10 more. Neumoire is available in both app stores for both phone and tablet devices. Enjoy!

Tim O'Reily (the CEO of those programming books that I pirated to learn as a kid) has said "Obscurity is a far greater threat to authors and creative artists than piracy" — I agree.

There are plenty of counterfeit copies of my deck, Kawaii Tarot (legit attached on the left, AliExpress on the right). I could be mad about "stealing."

But instead I'm happy to be here. I made an impact on culture like I wanted. Honestly, I'd rather have that than the $1 per sale I make in royalties.

I will always be a part of a spiritual movement towards accessibility and inclusion in the late 2010s and early 2020s. There's no changing that, ever.

✨ Introducing Neumoire! A digital meets mystical journaling app for magic practitioners, also known as a grimoire or book of shadows. From my brain to yours, Neumoire is a modern tool for mindful magic. Available now on iOS & Android 🌙

I created Neumoire based on the belief that a digital grimoire should be easy to use every day, totally your own, aesthetically pleasing, and technologically enhanced.

This replaces my old Book of Shadows Journal app. I did more than fix some bugs. I reimagined what a book of shadows can be. Enjoy secure cloud backups, Neuromancy (automatic & spiritual categorization AI) and sigils. Sigils are automatic markers of the present moment attached to each entry—like the current moon phase and the song you’re listening to.

Make spirituality a daily practice. Neumoire is available in both app stores for both phone and tablet devices. Enjoy!

I’ve noticed some comments suggesting that the Spoopy Tarot lacks soul, and I’d like to take a moment to address those remarks.

1. The Physical Deck: I understand that the printed version might not resonate with everyone. The large card size and the washed-out colors were design choices made by my publisher, which didn’t quite capture the original spirit of the artwork. While I appreciate their intention to give it a pastel aesthetic, simply brightening the images didn’t do the art justice. This format isn’t ideal for the details and vibrancy of the deck.

2. The Digital Deck: If you haven’t already, I highly recommend experiencing Spoopy Tarot in its digital format. Through the Cute Tarot app, you’ll see the cards in their intended vibrancy, with the colors and proportions that truly bring them to life. You can check it out at cutetarot.com.

3. The Companion Book: For me, the true heart of Spoopy Tarot lies in the guidebook. I carefully crafted the card descriptions to intertwine the Halloween theme with cuteness and traditional tarot meanings. For example, the Fool’s journey is reimagined in a way that fits the deck’s unique narrative: "The Story of The Fool:
The Spoopy Tarot tells the story of a spirit, The Fool, who haunts others because they struggle with resentment over being dead. They feel trapped by the unfairness of their circumstances, as if death is something relentlessly happening to them. Despite this, The Fool’s adventurous and open-minded nature pushes them to seek more. One day, weary of their haunting routines, they move to a new place and encounter wise, benevolent guides of the afterlife. Through these mentors, The Fool learns to embrace the gentle love that has always surrounded them, even in the afterlife."

Thank you for supporting Spoopy Tarot! If you’re curious about how it shines digitally, download the Cute Tarot app and explore the vibrant world I originally envisioned.
