State of the Heart Recovery is leading the way as the only non-profit opioid treatment center in the region, and their innovative approach to tackling addiction and homelessness is nothing short of inspirational.

We are a collective of innovative thinkers looking at state-of-the-art technology and unique approaches to solving society’s growing problems. The United States is facing a number of crises that have only been
compounded by the COVID-19 pandemic:

• Substance Use and Overdose Deaths
• Mental Health Disorders
• Homelessness
• Violence and Unrest
• Incarceration

From our laboratory and treatment center in Albuquerque, New Mexico, we have developed a treatment model that focuses on technology-based, emotional power training. Using a “gamified” system, our trainees are compensated for participation and rewarded for successes. Our model develops emotional growth and power allowing participants to reward themselves with housing,
sobriety, employment, transportation, etc.
The strength of our model is in its malleability. We have the ability to inject new technologies and new approaches into our training. Additionally, we have “trainees” and experienced technical staff to capture study data and report on results. We are working on developing real solutions using today’s technology that work…where society has failed to this point. So, we are looking for…
