Super Mario Galaxy-Inspired Art Class is scheduled for Sunday, April 26th! 🌟This will be the last art class for a while, so you won’t want to miss it!

Kids will design a portrait of their favorite character using a colorful assortment of beads (complete with a galaxy background)—plus, their finished project will include a fun surprise twist at the end! 🌟

Eggs with legs… and BIG personality! 🥚✨
The littles had fun using brushes and q-tips to create bright, polka-dot eggs, then bringing them to life by choosing eye colors, names, and even fun hobbies to share with the class. So cute to see their imaginations at work! (Tried to get them all pictured, but missed a couple)

The older artists took it a step further—learning how to draw expressions, then designing their own unique eggs with personality and creative patterns. Even adding "hair" with feathers.

Such a fun example of how one project can be adjusted to fit any age. Every artist brought something special to their egg!🎨💛

Sooo… there have been some rumblings around the studio about the new Mario Galaxy movie coming out soon 👀
And I was told… I mean asked… if we could do an art class for it.
Now, with Yoshi (Mrs. M’s all-time favorite 💚) making his debut in the new movie, I just couldn’t say no!

🎨 The project is still in the works… but it will be awesome, it might glow, and it may be a new fav! I'm trying to get a feel for how many fans are out there so I can plan accordingly. Want to be the first to know about registration? Drop a 🌟 below!

Those beautiful dried floral projects you loved a few weeks ago are making a return—this time as a special Mom & Me experience!

Grab your little bestie and come create something blooming beautiful together! You'll be designing a gorgeous floral piece that’s perfect to frame and display at home (aka the kind of art that makes you smile every time you walk by 🥰)

🤩Wow! What an incredible afternoon! The community truly showed up to support these young entrepreneurs, and it was so special to see.❤️

Since the beginning of March, these kids have been diving into all things entrepreneurship—learning about local entrepreneurs, exploring branding and customer interaction, and understanding materials, pricing, and profit. They also spent time bringing their ideas to life during product development days, and it definitely paid off!

Today’s showcase was full of creativity—from keychains and surprise egg axolotls to wood creations and potted plants. While a few participants were a little nervous about making sales, the community came through in the best way. Every single kid walked away with earnings in their pockets and big smiles to match!

A huge thank you to the parents, our wonderful volunteers Tami Tyson Texley Nate Olson, and our fantastic venue, The NEST, for helping make the day so special. And a special shoutout to Boone County Development Agency for partnering with M. ART to bring this program to life and for investing in the future of these young entrepreneurs! 🚀

🐣 Easter Paint, Swipe, Surprise!
This colorful spring project is all about bold paint, creative techniques, and an exciting reveal at the end! Artists will discover how one simple design can transform into something amazing with just a few "swipes". This will be one to display for Easter!

🐥 Crazy Eggs with Legs!
Using paint, drawing techniques, and mixed media, artists will transform an egg-shaped wood cutout into a bold, personality-packed Easter character. By experimenting with exaggerated expressions and stylized features they’ll explore the basics of character design — proving that even the simplest shape can become something full of story.

The newly rescheduled workshop is here—reimagined in a flexible format designed to better fit student and family schedules while delivering an exciting, hands-on experience.

This engaging program is perfect for students eager to turn their creativity, imagination, and entrepreneurial spirit into real products. True to its name, Made in Boone reflects the pride of products imagined, created, and brought to life right here in Boone by the next generation of innovators and creators.

Participants will learn the fundamentals of entrepreneurship while building confidence and practical skills through product development, branding, marketing, and real-world sales experience. The workshop will conclude with a Community Product Fair, where students will proudly showcase and sell the products they created!

This opportunity is made possible thanks to the support of the Boone County Development Agency, whose sponsorship and program oversight help provide meaningful experiences for local youth while investing in the future of entrepreneurship in our community.
