We had a GREAT amount of fun at class yesterday! Thanks so much for the awesome students! Y'all did great. Everyone passed and I think everyone really learned some skills to improve their shooting too. It's great to see someone hone their skills and see immediate improvement! That's one of the most satisfying things you can experience as an instructor!

Training Opportunity!
For the last few months I've been blessed to become friends with and train with Joseph Teti. As an instructor myself I learned a long time ago that the one thing you should continue to do is learn. Never every stop learning! Learn new methods, new tactics, new solutions to problems. Different people learn better different ways and I can always pick up things from other instructors that might sit better with my students than the way I've learned to teach it in the past.

Methods evolve over time. What was great shooting technique in 1970 will have improved by 1990, and further improved or changed completely due to world or battle conditions by 2020.

Joseph is teaching a couple classes this year locally at Hyatt Farms Shooting complex. These are EXTREMELY limited class sizes in order to produce the most effective classroom experience for the students.

This class in particular is M4/AR-15 Operator Course Level 1 Civilian. It's very rare that I reach out to recommend another instructor but I've seen his instruction in person. and his experience and approach make him great at breaking things down in a manner his students can digest.

Joseph is a veteran of both the US military and special operations units; a former Force Recon Marine, former Green Beret, and former operator with the CIA's Special Activities Division - the most elite covert black ops unit in the world.

I don't think you'll find a better teach out there.

This is preliminary class that will teach you the AR-15/M4 platform and is a precursor to the more advanced class. (You can't take the advanced class without taking this one first).

We're firing up teaching for 2020... (finally).
I've got a ladies-only class coming up in October. (Probably going to be on the 24th, but I'm waiting to confirm that with the other students.)
If there are any ladies that would like to be part of a ladies-only class, let me know. I'm trying to get a head-count of who would want the course so I can plan appropriately.

And THIS.... is why well tell you not to be an idiot. There are two things wrong with this story.

1) This man tried to carry a firearm in his waistband without a proper holster.
2) This man bought a Hi-Point.

The mere fact that he walked around with a Hi-Point for defense says he simply wanted a gun to show off... not an actual firearm with which to defend himself. No person ever, ever, purchased a Hi-Point for defense. The purchased a Hi-Point because they think guns really only cost $150.

The fact that he carried it without a holster in his waistband... well, that's just getting what he deserves for being an idiot.

Rule #1: Don't carry a $500 sidearm in a $20 holster.

Owning a Hi-Point already invalidates rule #1...
