Vortex Church is a local, life-giving church that meets in multiple locations in central North Carolina
Vortex Church was established in 2012 under the leadership of Lead Pastor Kevin Simmons. With just a handful of people Vortex launched into existence and has worked tirelessly to make the name of Jesus known in Stanly County and central North Carolina. In 2020 Vortex launched its first permanent location in downtown Albemarle, while maintaining its portable location at Eastgate Cinemas, also in Al

Sometimes the things God starts in our lives don’t happen the way we expected. What begins with excitement can quickly turn into waiting, setbacks, questions, and a process we didn’t see coming. Tonight, Maddie is going to unpack what it looks like to trust God in the middle of the process and believe that He’s still working—even when the dream feels delayed.
