After being a GibbsCAM reseller for over 25 years, I’ve decided to step back a bit and hand off the GibbsCAM part of Morningstar CAM Solutions to CAMCO, a trusted, full-service GibbsCAM reseller for the East Coast.

Don't worry - Morningstar CAM Solutions is still here and I'm still going to be involved in providing machining, programming and training services. I'm not ready to get out of manufacturing quite yet!

Visitors to SOUTHTEC will get a sneak peek preview at what’s new in GibbsCAM 2024. New developments continue the focus on core capability, while introducing new technology in collaboration with Sandvik Coromant by establishing direct integration with the CoroPlus® Tool Library.

By utilizing 3D tool models and recommended cutting data based on factors such as material, operation, and tool type, users can optimize the machining process without running the risk of multiple manual data entries. The cloud-based nature of the tool library means that users of GibbsCAM 2024 can access data from anywhere making it invaluable for organizations implementing company standards, or users who work remotely or across multiple locations.
