Easy way to check argon shielding. The only difference between the medium and good example was turning off the air flow in the shop. If things aren't going well it's nice to be able to quickly rule out argon as an issue. If it doesn't come out shiny silver it could be a loose fitting or connection, a pin hole in a line, or too much air movement in the environment . I wish it all came off this easy!! This tank was painted by the manufacturer to be just good enough…😐starting peeling a year after it was painted.
