Pull up a chair! 📣

Your body just built a human. It’s time to rebuild you.
Let’s stop prioritizing gadgets over nourishment.
You don’t need 10 types of swaddles or a wipe warmer to recover from birth.

What you do need?

✨ Warm, soft, easy-to-digest meals.

These aren’t just cozy—they’re traditional postpartum medicine.
After birth, your digestion is weaker, your body is depleted, and your nervous system craves grounding.

Stews, soups, broths, root veggies, slow-cooked meats—these foods are:
✔️ Nutrient-dense
✔️ Gentle on digestion
✔️ Naturally warming (key for hormone balance + recovery)
Instead of a fancy swing, gift a new mom a pot of bone broth or a batch of congee.

That’s the kind of support that lasts. 💛
Choosing to embrace and honor your postpartum period means you are honoring your lifelong health.
Your postpartum period impacts your health for the rest of your life and can make you more susceptible to different illness and/ or disease if you don’t properly replenish your body.
A body without vitamins and minerals it needs to support psychological processes begins to adapt and change to keep up.
Prepping for your postpartum meals ensuring your health for years to come.

You will be tricked…
As a pregnant mom, ESPECIALLY a first time mom, our society will trick you into thinking you need things that you 100% do not for your baby.
Consumerism at its finest is convincing new moms that they can’t possibly survive without the snoo bassinet.
But how will you ever get anything done if you don’t have a fancy baby swing to set your baby in?
You better get the uppa baby vista stroller for 1000s of $ because it’s the cream of the crop.
You’re baby will be miserable if their wipes aren’t warmed up.
How will they ever sleep without a sound machine?
You’ll need this 200$ baby carrier to carry them around.
Modern day society makes moms feel less than if they don’t have these things or can’t afford them.
The truth is, you don’t need any of that s**t.
I fell for it too.
When I was pregnant with my son, I did all the things.
The perfectly curated nursery that looked like it was out of a magazine
The bougie jogging stroller.
The expensive high chair.
Whatever it was, I “NEEDED” these things.
I thought that is what I needed to be a mom.
The truth is?
The organic crib and mattress… he never slept in.
The baby swing… he hated.
The stroller… screamed in it only wanted to be held.
The baby wipe warmer… caused mold
All my son needed was me.
So while friends, family, stores, commercials, social media will make you think you need these things…
You don’t.
You know what you do need though?
