My Grandpa was one of the sweetest souls I’ll ever know. He lived 90 full years and I’m so grateful I got to spend so much time with him. When I think about growing up, we’re in his backyard playing horseshoes and croquet-golf, blasting 90s country radio.

He loved the mountains, loved the beach, loved an adventure. But he also found so much joy and contentment in everyday life - in his paintings, in his routines, in the simple act of getting up and going for a walk. He stayed active and independent right up to the end — and now he’s on to his next adventure. See you down the road, Grandpa 🤍

**ACTION - please keep an eye out for my missing instruments 💔**
Haven’t wanted to post this because it makes it feel more real but need to get the word out - especially to my music fam. My box of instruments didn’t arrive with the rest of my stuff in my move. I went with a moving service called Coastal Moving to haul my stuff from Oakland to Nashville and of all the boxes that didn’t arrive had my beloved Carvin, Les Paul, Washburn bass, painted uke, mountain dulcimer, and a number of gear stands. I’m holding out hope that the company is able to locate this box but in case they’re somewhere out there, please keep an eye out when you’re scrolling reverb.com or marketplace etc. And also maybe don’t trust a moving company with things that are invaluable to you that you can’t replace. It’s one instance I wish I hadn’t trusted the process. That Carvin is my favorite guitar I’ve ever had. We’ve played countless shows, written a bunch of songs and recorded them together. I’m missing her big time.
