Nicole from the Albany County Senior Craft program recently got a donation of scrap fabric from Up-Stitch for a class on making colorful wreaths! We hope the participants have a wonderful time choosing from all the colors and patterns we were able to send their way.

This week at Up-Stitch: It's the second Sunday of the month, which means we're open an extra day for all your crafting needs! Plus, we've got quite the lineup of events so you can connect with fellow artists in your community.

Don't need any new supplies, but still want to contribute to our area's needs? Sunnyview Rehab Center recently came to pick up another 20 walker bags, made from our community bundles by crafters like you! Come by the shop and check out the bundles available for you to take, make, and bring back for donations!

Here's what's going on this week:
Knitting Clinic with Dorothy: Saturday 6/13 2pm - 4pm, Free, no registration needed. Bring a project you need help with and get advice to get back on track.

Peace is Every Stitch: Sunday 6/14 11am - 1:30pm, Free, no registration required. For caregivers to slow down and connect.

Second Sunday Social Crafters: Sunday 6/14 2pm - 5pm, Free, no registration necessary. Adults only, low states social engagement.

Our store hours this weekend are Saturday and Sunday from 1pm - 4pm. We can't wait to see you there!

The Sheep Detectives – Crandell Theatre Every night a shepherd reads aloud a murder mystery, pretending his sheep can understand.

We've got mohair mania at Up-Stitch! Tons of mohair options for weaving, knitting, and crocheting (or anything else your creative fiber art heart can come up with!). Looking for a specific color of our cone yarns and don't see it on the store floor? Ask one of our volunteers for help - we've got even more in the back! We've priced these yarns to sell, so come on in and stock up for your next big project.

Attention needlepoint artists: we have a collection of hand-painted canvases ready for your projects (not to mention a vast array of yarns and embroidery flosses to choose the perfect colors from)!

Check them out and find your next inspiration during our usual business hours, Wednesday 10am - 1pm, or Saturday 1pm - 4pm.

This week at Up-Stitch: we've got some buttery soft 100% Angora, plus quite a few Pounds of Love yarn skeins. We've also got a yarn ball winder available.
