I have hung up my apron strings for 2016, I am pursuing my masters degree. From there I took it a step further and started planning parties.

I started making cakes when my son turned a year old, at the time no one was making custom cakes or cupcakes. I truly love planning parties and creating cakes and cupcakes for my clients. One day I would love to own a cupcake/cake shop, I have it all planned out thanks to Pinterest!!

It's been a while sweets...some of you may remember my post about going back to school to work on my masters, which meant no more cake or cupcake orders for me. I just finished my first class with an "A" so my time away from cakes has been busy and productive. Thank you again for understanding ❤️

Final topper order for 2016...these little beauties are headed to Florida. I can't wait to see the finished product from my friend Patty from Sweet Treat Stands! Sweets I need your help!! I have posted in the past about my dear friend battling cancer, 34 and battling cancer!! A scan this last week has shown that she has 2 new tumors. She is an amazing person with a determined and kind soul, she deserves to be cancer free and live her life. I don't know what else to do except ask for your help in sharing this post or to selflessly give any monetary amount. She could really use our help and prayers. Thank you so much ❤️😘

I can finally say it's official...I am going back to school to obtain my masters degree!!This was a big decision for me and my family. I am fortunate to have a great supportive system with my family and my work. I am excited and nervous at the same time. I will continue to work my full time job while I am going back to school, so I have decided that I won't be doing anymore cakes or cupcakes during my schooling time. The wedding orders that I have on the books for this summer is all I will do for 2016. I truly thank all of you for being supportive throughout the years. You have allowed me to start with something that was a hobby and turn it into being seen in magazines and a book!! I can't thank you enough for allowing me to be a part of your special events. I have enjoyed watching your children grow, your families grow, and watching some of you get married and then to having babies.

Absolutely loved this weekends delivery for a company party. The party was a Great Gatsby themed party, Sweet Reds a wine bar was the perfect backdrop for a night of fun!! The glitz and glam of this party was so much fun to be a part of!! Some of the cupcakes had Art Deco toppers, and others had gold sprinkles.

I am so not looking forward to going back to work, I was fortunate enough to be off for 10 days and enjoy my family. Tomorrow will be rough!!
