Just in time for Earth Day, we were proud to welcome Doreen Harris, President & CEO of New York State Energy Research and Development Authority (NYSERDA), for a construction tour of Sol Apartments - Troy NY, the City of Troy’s first all‑electric, zero‑emission residential building.

Sol is a Round Three winner of the Buildings of Excellence Competition, administered by NYSERDA. Buildings of Excellence recognizes and rewards the design, construction, and operation of clean, resilient, carbon neutral-ready multifamily buildings.

The coveted G.O.A.T. trophy has a new home in our construction department thanks to Project Manager, Alex Keyes, who brought down the hammer in our safety committee-approved 3rd Annual Office Olympics! Honorable mentions go to our individual event medalists, Chris Cimino, Gabe Salvesen, Nadia Smirnova, and Crystal Scorsone, and Tacos Diablo NY was the two-time winner for favorite taco bar!
