The Produce Pickup Project continues to serve as a powerhouse for food access for the residents of Albany. Thank you to all our volunteers that make this program incredible!! PPP will be open again weather permitting on Thursday, Februrary 6th, from 10-12:30 PM. Please check the page for updates as this is subject to change. Thank you!

Yesterday, our amazing team distributed 1,923 meals to our community's families, including 45 children, all fresh produce and items that will provide quality nutrition to all who access our program. We will be operating again at our location, 577 Clinton Ave, Albany, on Thursday, February 6th, between 10:00 AM - 12:30 PM, weather permitting. Please look out for updates regarding any cancellation due to inclement weather.

We are proud to provide this service to our neighbors and friends, who are also the backbone of our operations. Major shout out to our team of volunteers who always show up with a smile on the days we run the Produce Pickup Project, you are incredible!! 🙌👏

This time of year it's critical that we let the little milkweed patches and any remaining native flowers to continue their life cycle.

We're going to be doing some Hive inspections and apiary setup. Join us!

We have a service learning opportunity tomorrow weather permitting for those of you who already have your bee suits and would like to get involved.

We will be installing new beehive colonies at the apiary doing some spring cleaning and organizing resources in hivh bodies!

Extremely proud to have partnered with the Albany & Troy Lions Club at the Albany Victory Gardens based youth blueberry orchard!

This orchard now includes a pollinator protection area filled with milkweed and other native footage for monarch butterfly, honey bees and other helpers!!! Planting gardens is good but planting seeds of hope, inspiration and participation in our kids will produce the world we can now only dream of! Buzz, buzz!
