Since we have some time at the airport, I took a closer look at the Jimmy V presentation. It’s interesting that my favorite part of his ESPY speech is included here along with his lifetime stays. “To me, there are three things we all should do everyday…”. Brilliant!

I am creating a post with a ‘Send Message’ button so that people can reach me. I am always here for support for anyone who needs it, and I can also connect you to someone who may have lived a very similar experience to yours. It’s important for us to be understood as we go through struggle.

The Joy US Foundation is offering this great evening out on Lake George. It is free for cancer patients and caregivers. What a great place to escape treatment for a night.

So we started getting on our teenage boys to make their beds. They couldn’t see the point and resisted my explanation, but I remembered this video. What I forgot was everything after the making the bed part. I was blessed with people around me to help me through the mud, and there’s nothing I enjoy more than helping others through their ‘mud’. This is six minutes well spent. Even my teens agreed.
