🎨 Doja Thrift Store 🎨

Our bodies are more than just bodies—they're a canvas for self-expression.

Every shirt, jacket, pair of boots, vintage find, or quirky accessory tells a story about who we are, where we've been, and what matters to us. Fashion isn't just about looking good. It's about creativity, individuality, art, and sometimes even the values we choose to wear proudly.

Today I'm wearing a shirt that says:

"Proudly Raised by Immigrants — The Children of Those Who Turned Nothing Into Something."

It's a reminder that clothing can carry memories, history, culture, and meaning.

At Doja Thrift, we believe self-expression matters. Whether you're searching for something bold, funny, artistic, nostalgic, rebellious, or uniquely you, there's a treasure waiting to be discovered.

Come find the pieces that help tell your story. Because sometimes a thrift store find is more than just a shirt—it's a conversation, a statement, a memory, or a reminder of who you are.

✨ Express yourself. ✨ Wear your story. ✨ Create your own style.

See you at Doja Thrift!

(And if you happen to find a shirt that says "Certified Boogeyman," we fully support that life choice. 😆)

✨ New at Doja Thrift ✨

These beautiful handmade art cards recently found their way to our shelves, and honestly, they stopped us in our tracks.

As we were looking through them, we couldn't help but wonder about the artist who created them. The colors, the details, the messages—Wonder, Hope, Blessed, Leave a Little Room for Magic—each one feels like it was made with care, creativity, and heart.

There's something a little bittersweet about finding artwork like this in a thrift store. Maybe the artist moved on. Maybe they cleaned out a studio. Maybe life simply took them in a different direction. But we hope they know that whoever they are, their work mattered enough for us to stop, admire it, and share it with our community.

If by some chance the artist ever sees this, we want you to know: your art is beautiful. Your creativity made someone's day, and it's making ours too.

At Doja Thrift, we believe dreams deserve space to grow. That's one of the reasons we offer consignment—we love supporting local makers, artists, and creators who are still chasing their passions. The world needs more art, more color, more wonder, more hope, and a little more magic.

These cards are available in-store now, and we'd love to see them find homes with people who appreciate the talent and heart behind them. 💜✨

Happy Pride Month from Doja Thrift Store . 🏳️‍🌈💜
Pride Month is about visibility, acceptance, and safety. While some people laugh at or dismiss Pride, it's important to remember that, for many families, Pride is about something much deeper: helping LGBTQ+ people know they are loved, valued, and deserving of a future. At its core, Pride is about creating communities where people can be themselves without fear, where young people feel supported, and where more people make it through difficult times knowing they belong.
We also believe that education and awareness help us build healthier conversations and stronger communities. That's why understanding common communication tactics matters:
• Whataboutism – Changing the subject by bringing up a different issue instead of addressing the one being discussed.
• Derailment – Redirecting a conversation away from the original topic, often preventing meaningful discussion or solutions.
• Manipulation – Using guilt, confusion, intimidation, or misinformation to influence others unfairly or avoid accountability.
• Straw Man Arguments – Misrepresenting someone's position to make it easier to attack instead of engaging with what they actually said.
• Gaslighting – Causing someone to question their own experiences, memories, or understanding of reality.
At DojaThrift, we believe that when people are informed, they are better able to advocate for themselves, support others, and engage in conversations with empathy and understanding. Knowledge is one of the tools that helps communities grow stronger.
When we know better, we can do better. Happy Pride Month. 💜✨🏳️‍🌈

🌈 Happy Pride Month from Doja Thrift! 🌈
At Doja Thrift, we believe that being yourself is non-negotiable.
Our window says it best: "Defend Your Beauty." To us, that means embracing who you are, celebrating your uniqueness, and creating space for others to do the same.
We're proud to be part of a community that values authenticity, self-expression, and belonging. Whether you're here for a great thrift find, a conversation, or simply a place where you can show up as yourself, you're welcome here.
✨ Happy Pride Month to everyone celebrating. We see you, we support you, and we're glad you're here.
Also, if anyone would like to stop by and hang out after 6 PM today (Thursday), we'd love to see you. We're also thinking about starting a community book club soon, so let us know if that's something you'd be interested in!
With love, The Doja Thrift Family 💜
