People think that cattle is what makes a ranch special. It isn't. It's the families. We worked together. We did jobs we hadn't done before. We worked until the job was done. We worked as a team. In short, we worked our calves. Amy Crowder Cheri Crowder Larry Crowder

It's said that it takes four years for the land to start recovering from the effects of row cropping, synthetic fertilizer, and intensive tillage. Our decision to switch to no-till and natural methods was a turning point. While our initial year was tough, with crops struggling to thrive in depleted soil, we remained committed. By incorporating no-till drilling and winter grazing, we've seen significant gains this year, and we're excited to continue improving our soil's health and fertility.

Happy Thanksgiving! We are so thankful for our farming partners who have implemented cover crop and cattle grazing methods into their farms. Working together we enhance soil fertility, conserving water resources, and produce top quality beef and potatoes!

Our first year weaning calves solely on stockpiled forage. This summer we drilled oats, turnips, and some more clover into our irrigated grass pastures. Now its time to put together a video for the Superior Bellringer Video Auction. Unfortunately they mute the videos for the sale but that doesn't mean we can't have some fun.
