1 Corinthians 15:58, “Therefore, my dear brothers and sisters, stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain.”

This is where we are at in this time and age.
Let your light shine in the midst of darkness.

2 Corinthians 4:1-6
Therefore, since through God’s mercy we have this ministry, we do not lose heart. 2 Rather, we have renounced secret and shameful ways; we do not use deception, nor do we distort the word of God. On the contrary, by setting forth the truth plainly we commend ourselves to everyone’s conscience in the sight of God. 3 And even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled to those who are perishing. 4 The god of this age has blinded the minds of unbelievers, so that they cannot see the light of the gospel that displays the glory of Christ, who is the image of God. 5 For what we preach is not ourselves, but Jesus Christ as Lord, and ourselves as your servants for Jesus’ sake. 6 For God, who said, “Let light shine out of darkness,” made his light shine in our hearts to give us the light of the knowledge of God’s glory displayed in the face of Christ.”

Some think that sinning is fun, but in reality it’s end result is death. It robs, kills and destroys.
If Adam and Eve did not escape from God’s judgement, what makes us think we’ll get away with it?
You might say, but now we have grace. Grace is not given for us to indulge in sin, or to have permission to sin, rather it is given to us to overcome it. His grace is sufficient, it’s the strength to overcome whatever tugs at our flesh to sin.
Turning away from our sin in a state of repentance will cause grace to come into effect in our lives. Grace covers a multitude of sins through God’s forgiveness. It comes to us freely, but it wasn’t free, it cost our Lord Jesus His life. He died that we may live. Live a life free of sin, not a life free to sin.
