Our Huskies are learning through hands-on activities, making new memories, and having fun with friends along the way. We can’t wait to see all the adventures this week brings!

Week One in the Books!

We wrapped up our Camping Adventure Week with a fun-filled Family Reading and Camping Activity! Our Huskies, along with their families and friends, camped out in the cafeteria, enjoyed reading together, completed hands-on activities, and made wonderful memories.

To celebrate a great week, we raffled off amazing prizes for students who attended camp all week and treated everyone to free hot dogs!

Thank you to our families for helping make this event so special. Your support helps create meaningful learning experiences and lasting memories for our students.

Next stop: Huskie Beach Adventure! We can't wait for another week of fun, learning, and excitement!

Reading & Camping Family Day was a wonderful adventure!

Thank you to all our Huskie families who joined us and shared these beautiful memories today. From reading great books to making lasting family connections, our campus was filled with smiles, laughter, and a love for learning.

Together, we proved that every reading journey becomes even more special when families are part of the adventure!

**Huskie Camping Enrichment Camp – Day 4!

Yesterday was filled with laughter, friendship, and one of the sweetest camping traditions—**making and tasting s’mores!**

From carefully roasting marshmallows to creating the perfect s’more masterpiece, our Huskies enjoyed every moment of this special experience. More importantly, they were creating something even sweeter than s’mores—**memories that will last a lifetime.**

Camping is about so much more than outdoor adventures. It's about building confidence, trying new things, working together, and sharing moments that bring us closer as a community. Watching our students smile, laugh, and celebrate these simple joys reminds us how important it is to create opportunities for connection, growth, and fun.

As Day 4 comes to a close, our hearts are full of gratitude for the friendships being formed, the lessons being learned, and the unforgettable memories being made around the campfire.

Learning, teamwork, and fun all in one day at Marcia R. Garza Elementary — Home of the Huskies!

Ms. Saenz’s 3rd-grade class put their collaboration skills to the test during an exciting team-building activity as they worked together to set up a camping tent. Through communication, problem-solving, and teamwork, our Huskies showed that they can accomplish great things when they work together!

The adventure continued as students settled in for some cozy reading time and enjoyed delicious s’mores with their friends. What a wonderful way to build friendships, create lasting memories, and foster a love for reading in a fun and engaging environment.
