An open-faced BBQ pork sandwich, slow, tender, messy in the best way. Sweet, smoky pork piled high, sauce soaking into the bread just enough that you know it’s about to get good. No hiding, no shortcuts, no polite bites. This one’s meant to be eaten with intent. It’s comforting, a little indulgent, and very much a today only situation. Come hungry. Leave happy. 🔥🍖

Not to be dramatic but… Prime Rib Sundays deserve their own calendar reminder. Slow-roasted. Juicy. Carved thick. Served with mash, jus, horseradish cream and main-character energy😩 You’re not busy on Sunday. You’re eating this😋

New year. Same fire.🔥 We didn’t come into 2026 whispering… we came in slow-roasting, carving, and building plates that feel like comfort and intention on the same fork.
Pork shoulder burnt ends, tender & smoky, layered over warm roti, jalapeño garum for a little heat, pickled onions for the bite, arugula to keep it fresh, and potato salad on the side because balance matters.
If this year is about doing things with purpose, letting flavors develop, and trusting the process… then this plate gets it. Here’s to taking our time, seasoning boldly, and starting the year the right way. 🤤

Today’s secret brunch burrito at Spinning Bones is doing the MOST: Portuguese sausage, fluffy scrambled eggs, crispy romesco potatoes, scallions, melted cheddar, and a dollop of sour cream all wrapped up real cozy. 🌯

You ever order something thinking it’s gonna be ‘just a salad’… then it pulls up looking like it’s about to change your whole life? Yeah. That’s this one. The salmon is giving silky, the greens are giving crisp-crunchy-fresh, and honestly I’m just sitting here wondering why I ever doubt salads in the first place.
Idk who needs to hear this but if you’re trying to eat cute and eat good… this is your sign. 🥗

No, it wasn’t on the menu. No, I didn’t plan it. Yes, it hit way harder than it had any right to. This morning’s secret brunch special was one of those “let’s see what happens” moments that turned into pure comfort food magic.
I don’t know if it was the crispy bacon, the jammy eggs, or maybe just the peace of a quiet morning.. Sometimes it’s just about following your cravings and trusting the process (and the soy sauce 😌).
So here’s to brunch fried rice, secret specials, spontaneous cravings, and meals that feel like hugs. 💛
