About The Team:
Alameda Science and Technology Intsitute (ASTI) Robotics Team, #4186 was established in 2011 with a membership of only ten students and two dedicated mentors. With the help of MVRT (115) the team managed to build a working robot and bring it to competition at the 2012 Silicon Valley Regional in San Jose, California. The Alameda Aztechs were at the freshly relaunched Bay Area Maker Faire this weekend on Mare Island in Vallejo, CA. We had a lot of fun showing people two of our competition robots and talking about what our high school team does. Team 8404 Quixilver represented the FTC level and Jill and Mark from Playing at Learning rounded everything out showcasing the FLL levels.
