Color is a staple in this industry. Past or present color services should be shared with your stylist. By doing so we are able to alchemize your future color services. My beautiful guest Tina has been getting her color done by me for two years now. I know what is in her hair. I also know what colors to stay away from and what colors she adores. My lovely guest came back in for an adjustment on her color. Lighting is a key element to how the color will look. Natural light, bathroom lighting, suite lighting, etc! I got her a. It to bright around the sides and front. I went in with a root smudge “thanks spirit” and cooled down the lights to a more natural mushroom color! Thank you for using your voice. It helps me as your stylist to evolve. I am okay with sharing my downfalls. This is a human experience 🫶🏿 I got to style my lovely guest out with her curls. Best Christmas gift

My favorite hairstylist is back in my chair! When life throws acorns at you; Befriend a squirrel. They will take them off your path and turn them into breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
Be Yourself at all times. .glambar had some very grown out highlights. She wanted to bring them back up, but still keep it natural. She also wanted a bold face frame. I love when she hits me up to provide self care. This is what support looks like. She could get her hair done for free at her job, but she see me. She is taking it honey! Her rightful place to exist in this world that is. This beautiful woman is living in authenticity. She cares so deeply for the youth and has moved up in the world. She’s taking control of her destiny and shining light into the hearts of everyone around her. She’s finally feeling safe in her workplace and is navigating her life as a WOMEN so naturally. Sister Sister! I love that another hair stylist I went to school with trust me with her hair. She trust me so much that she brings her sister as well. This is round two with both of them. I saw them about 3 or four months ago and they shared that their hair grew so much faster.
This time they both surprised me with wanting something different. First wanted to incorporate fringe with more layers and her sister wanted to go shorter! I’m excited to you to start your journey in the industry. I know being in the medical field has its perks, as a former MA myself. The beauty industry has so much to offer you.

My beautiful guest was recommended to me by my neighbor at the studios. We first connected and had a blast. We broke the ice with a Haircut. I posted a while ago that I was doing perms and she reached out to secure an appointment. Chey was wanting texture and volume. Getting to know you more has been a breath of fresh air. I didn’t expect that you were apart of the FAMILY! IYKYK I feel that much more comfortable with you. We both are the extroverted ones in our partnership with our significant others. I love that they have also manage to get us to be comfortable being at home.

My amazing guest Amanda here was referred by her wife Elizabeth! When I did her wife’s hair she knew she wanted to come see me to add some color into her hair.
Amanda grew up in a very religious family. Those of us who are q***r know the struggle of acceptance with ourselves let alone our family. I was able to connect with Amanda on a few of those levels. She’s living her best life out and proud. Amanda wanted to do a peekaboo color scheme. Pink, Blue, and Purple for representation of her sexuality. He had a laugh about if being q***r was a choice most people would choose to be Bisexual!
