Hardesty Park Little Library

Spider Sherlock filled the LL with sidewalk chalk, puzzles, Halloween trail mix, treats for his doggy friends, and books! Stop by!

A friend of the Little Library kindly donated lots of fun Halloween things: Coloring books and crayons, Halloween games and puzzles, stickers, window gel clings, and cool Halloween stuffies to hang on your backpack. Spooky Sherlock will put some in the LL every few days. Stop by!

Did you know there were lions in Hardesty Park? Keep an eye out and you might spot them. They put lots of kid books in the LL and RING POPS!

Sherlock has fixed the LL door (with a little help) and has stocked it with school supplies and a new backpack. Stop by!

Someone tore the door off the LL last night, but Sherlock and his friends are making repairs! Stop back in a day or two.

Do you need notebooks, markers, hi-lighters, folders, or pencils for your back-to-school backpack? Stop by the LL, Sherlock has you covered! He even put out a new backpack for anyone who needs one.

Teacher’s Pets, Sherlock and Baby Dog Benny, have filled the LL with more school supplies and hung a new backpack on the leash hook. Stop by to see if there are any supplies you need!

Tonight is the last City of Akron Recreation and Parks Monday Night concert of the year and the weather is perfect! Bring a chair and dance to the great music of Time Machine Band - Kent, Ohio and be sure to stop by the new Little Library. Sherlock has been getting his school backpack together and has placed some supplies in the LL so you can get organized too! Thanks to the City of Akron, Ohio - Mayor's Office for such a great season of concerts.

Baby Dog Benny and Sherlock put on their best suits to announce the installation of the NEW Little Library! Many thanks for all the help and good wishes from so many neighbors. Stop by for a book and let us know what you think!

It is with great sadness that I inform you the Little Library has been ripped down. Park neighbors, can you keep an eye out in case it was dumped somewhere?
