That's a wrap on the 28×28 Mobility Challenge.

For 28 days, Team Yanke Bionics moved 28 minutes a day for one reason: because movement is a right, not a privilege — and too many people still get denied the prosthetic and orthotic care that keeps them moving.

Every mile and every dollar our team put in rolls up into Team Ohio's total and a national challenge that raised over $150,000 to change how this care gets covered. Huge thank-you to our movers — Robi, Linda, Ashley, and Renee — with a special shout-out to Robi, who logged miles nearly every single day of July. 👏

The challenge ends. The mission doesn't. We build the devices that keep people moving — every day, all year.

Team Yanke Bionics is at $528 raised and about 167 miles logged.
Robi is carrying this thing. She has raised $378 by asking people to pledge $2.50 for every mile she logs, then actually going out and logging them almost every day.

Day 16 of 28. Orthotics and prosthetics are equal parts science, craft, and care. Here, movement is built by hand.

Day 15 of 28.
A scan becomes a mold becomes a device that changes a life. That's what we do here every day.
First we scan the limb, a digital 3D capture, no plaster needed. Then that scan becomes a model and the device is formed over it by hand. Then it goes home with the person it was made for, and it changes how they move.
Scan, mold, live.
This is the work we're moving for all month, so that insurance stops treating mobility like it's optional. Movement is a right, not a privilege.
