Summit County Community Partnership is a consortium of community resources committed to preventing substance abuse in Summit County.

Summit County Community Partnership was founded in 1990 as a response to the costly impact of substance abuse in our community. A coalition of more than 180 businesses, municipalities, organizations, and community activists came together to implement environmental strategies that would decrease the amount of substance abuse in Summit County. Our mission is to facilitate coalitions of community resources in order to prevent alcohol, drug abuse, and problem gambling in Summit County.

The NBA Finals bring excitement – but also increased exposure to sports betting. With apps and ads everywhere, teens are seeing gambling normalized more than ever. Early exposure can increase the risk of problem gambling later in life.

💬 Talk with your teen about:
✔️ The realities behind betting
✔️ Financial risks
✔️ Making informed choices

Awareness starts at home. 💛

June is PRIDE Month – A time to celebrate love, identity, and the strength of the LGBTQ+ community. 🌈

At Summit County Community Partnership, we believe every young person deserves to feel safe, seen, and supported just as they are. When youth feel accepted, they’re more likely to make healthy choices and thrive. Let’s continue building a community where everyone belongs. 💛

If you or someone you love needs support, the 988 Lifeline is available 24/7 – call or text 988.

Happy Pride Month, friends!

Today we pause to honor and remember the men and women who gave their lives while serving our country.

Memorial Day can also be a difficult day for many families and veterans who carry the weight of loss.

If today feels heavy, know that you are not alone. Support is available, and reaching out can make a difference.

We remember. We honor. We reflect.
