The lymphedema struggle is real, physically and mentally. I get really self-conscious about it and sleeves aren’t an option in this heat and Darlene is Darleneing these days (iykyk). 🥵
To all my fellow lymphies, I see you. Grateful to be alive, but the lymphedema struggle is real. 💕

Phil and I are incredibly honored to be the MCs of the Butterfly Gala this year. 🦋
As many of you know, Phil was diagnosed with testicular cancer this year, and once again we’ve felt the incredible support from Stewart’s. This mission hits very close to home for our family. 💗
The Butterfly Gala brings our community together for an unforgettable evening supporting Stewart’s Caring Place. This year is especially meaningful as Akron Bikers for B***s will receive the Spirit Award.

Second Base welcomes the beautiful Kendra Falcone to the Pink Carpet. Kendra plays a huge role behind the scenes and is in charge of all of the auction items — a huge undertaking. She is also an 8-year breast cancer survivor whose heart for giving back continues to impact so many. 💗Falcone’s Tavern was named the JBMF Community Partner of the Year, and her breast cancer event raised over $20,000 this past January. Snaps for Kendra for all that you do 🫰🏽🔥.
Second Base welcomes Ashley Stroud a dedicated supporter and board member since 2014.
This year hits a little deeper, as Ashley has faced a cancer journey of her own. She is a beautiful badass! 👏🏼💗
We welcomed Jennifer Carroll, one of Mary’s dearest friends, to the Pink Carpet. A dedicated annual attendee, she shared the heart behind her friendship with Mary and what this mission truly means to her. 💗💗
