"Haunting and heartbreaking." LEVITICUS. Coming soon to The Nightlight 🎬🎬🎬

If there is a name that deserves more recognition in horror, it is Causeway Films. The independent Australian production company has been behind some of the biggest films in the genre, including ‘The Babadook’, ‘The Nightingale’, and ‘Talk to Me’. Their latest effort, ‘Leviticus’, joins their resume of striking, singular horror movies while exploring a fresh subject matter: a q***r romance. Starring Joe Bird, Stacy Clausen, and Mia Wasikowska, the debut feature from writer-director Adrian Chiarella follows two star-crossed teen boys who must face a shapeshifting evil force.

SPECIAL ONE NIGHT ONLY SHOWING 🚨🎬 'Asco: Without Permission' is coming to on Thu, 6/18 @ 7:45 PM. This one's for doc lovers, artists, nonconformists, and history buffs alike. You won't want to miss it.

In 1970’s LA a group of young Chicano’s were sick of the war, the government's violence against their people, their own people’s nationalism, the art landscape that barred them and those like them. Asco, the Spanish word for disgust or revulsion, became their groups identifier.

ASCO: WITHOUT PERMISSION is a genre-defying film that profiles the extraordinary, Los Angeles based, Chicano art group of the 70's-80's, ASCO, who merged activism and art as they challenged representation in the art world, Hollywood and the news media. Unrecognized in their time, they are now being considered amongst the most important artists of the 20th century. Utilizing a wholly original approach to filmmaking where nonfiction and fiction are interconnected through collaborative film works made with the next generation of Latinx artists, "Without Permission" reimagines what is possible today in cinema and art while celebrating an iconoclastic group that was far ahead of its time. From executive producers, Gael García Bernal and Diego Luna.
