I had to put my baby out of her misery today 😢 She had a cancerous mass in her gut and it was stopping her from eating and drinking. She hasn’t been feeling well. We woke up today knowing today was going to be her last. 😢 I love and miss you so much my little Queen! You are so loved! You are the sweetest little girl a mama could ever hope for.

My lil Girl, Mary, had an a**l gland infection or abscess! 😢 We got her all fixed up yesterday but she hadn’t felt well for a couple days and and yesterday morning I felt a swelling right around her poor lil behind! And she was hissing and growling at me and she never does that unless she’s hurting...I couldn’t pick her up, pet her, she just wanted to be left alone. But thank God we got her into the vet and they were able to drain it out and make her all better. As soon as we got her home again she was purring again! However that was yesterday at 4:00pm or so! She just fell asleep for the first time, poor baby girl, about 4 hours ago! She’s so restless which makes me restless! I was finally able take a deep breath in and out again when she slept! But at least she’s purring and happy and not hissing or growling as often. She’s still in a lil pain I think but not too much. 😢 If I could take it all from her I would.

IT’S GLOBAL CAT DAY AND NATIONAL FERAL CAT DAY!!! Love your pets, adopt a cat and help a feral! Feral cats aren’t like they sound - they aren’t “feral” mean cats - they are just unsocialized cats that haven’t had any love and care in a long time so they don’t trust you. With some tender loving care and lots of pawtience (lol, patience) you can start a cat colony that will become home and family to these precious, beautiful cats...and the majority will learn to love and trust you. Some won’t trust no matter what you do because only God knows what some A-hole bullying psychopath has done to them - but they will come to love you in their own way and you will know it. And they will all come to think of you as their mama, or as I like to say, their meowmy. So think about starting a colony and helping these beautiful soulful animals. It’s a lot of work but very rewarding! As heartbreaking as it could be sometimes, I wouldn’t ever want to volunteer my life doing anything else. I love them as my own. And they love me and Ginny - co-owners of our lil colony at one point before I had to leave. 😞 Ginny and her husband still care for them.

Happy PURRTHDAY baby girl!! You are 7 Years Old today!! 7!!! Growing up too fast for me - I remember when you were weeeeee little and fit in the palm of my hand! You were always feisty, but then as you grew more into your purrsonality, you became a Xena Princess Warrior!! You always had and still have a big and beautiful purrsonality that I would never change about you but scared me every so often when I saw you going after raccoons! Raccoons! You were chasing them away from your mama (me!) and your colony family - you are one of the best Security Grrrrards of our colony! I love you 😘💕 baby girl and please continue to stay safe! You own a part of heart and soul, you and the rest of our colony family. I still pray to God for your safety and happiness too 🙂 Stay out of the streets as much as possible and completely away from the train tracks and highways!! Meow meow meow!!!
