Moonlight Fable

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5/5! I can't say enough how much I loved this book! If you're familiar with Melissa's writing style and her other books this was a good one as well! When I signed up to Arc read the book I knew I'd love it.

It is in the same world as her Dragon Heart's Trilogy but can be read as a standalone.

I found the banter and humorous parts to be golden! Of course there is a Dragon. 👀 Oh and a cat! What's not to love?!

I highly recommend.

Don't forget to follow her kickstarter link: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/2092144931/isle-of-dragon-bones-deluxe-edition?ref=scbpiw. It launches October 1st to get dibs on special edition hardbacks or paperbacks! Also always other goodies. I absolutely love the kickstarters she puts together. She does a fantastic job at them.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5/5.

I signed up to Arc read B.B. Aspen's new Book Brightling. It's a standalone. I was familiar with her writing as an Author reading her previous trilogy book series. The Dream Weavers Trilogy. Lots of word building and characters in this as well.

OMG. I have no words to be honest. A lot went on. Lots of spice, kinks, and blood! 👀 Reverse harem. Danika needs 5 Darklings to keep her in check with her power. 😱 Danika is a powerful bad ass. Like we need someone like her in real life.

If you're into vampires and magic, I highly recommend this because it's definitely what Brightlings and Darklings remind me of and they all have their own different abilities.

As always read trigger warnings before reading. Because I know this kind of book is definitely not for everyone.

I went to the Akron Authors Con with my Sister Saturday at Emidio's center on 48 E Bath Rd Suite 101 Cuyahoga Falls, OH 44223.

This was my book haul and some business cards I picked up. I had fun talking to some Authors. There were definitely other books from Authors I wanted to buy but was trying to keep from spending too much, but don't worry I followed most of you on here, Threads, and Instagram. ❤️

I hope today will be a better turnout for everyone!

Another ✨announcement✨ I am working on some Hand Lettering for an Indie Author copy for the front title and spine of her book! I can't wait to share the finished work with you! She has someone else working on the book cover illustration. ❤️ I can't wait to see how it all goes together and I can share it with you.

Stay tuned!

Today I got the acceptance e-mail to also be an arc reader for B.B. Aspen's Brightling! So excited and can't wait to dive in.

The official release date for her book is September 22, 2026.

Another arc read I am a part of: Ashaya by F. Sharpe.

19 books I have read so far in 2026. Mostly all 4 to 5 Star ratings! I know of course not all books are for everyone and that's ok. ☺️ I am hoping for the The Once and Future Queen's second book The Keeper of The Grail to be much better because I really enjoy the King Arthur retelling aspect of it.

I'm currently reading Leena Kazak's Between Tides and Thunder. Hoping to finish it this week. Already about 47% into the book. Some books just pull you in! Been trying to get a chance to read as much as I get a chance to.

I work full-time and I'm a Mom (to a 5 year old) and Wife. So you can imagine the very little time I have to read! But even so I'm proud of to get to 19 books already for the year. Last year I got around to 37 books read. We will see if I can top that this year.

#2026

YAY! I am a confirmed selected arc reader for M.A. Frick's Isle of Dragon Bones stand-alone romantasy! .A.Frick-writer https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100092328531964

I'm so excited to have a chance to read her book early before her release in January. This is the first time I have signed up to be an arc reader. I had no idea it existed until I got more into reading again. Especially after finding out about a lot of indie Authors.

You can still sign up to be an arc reader! here --

18th book that I have read this year!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 4/5 Stars.

I found out about this book through instagram. It was honestly more of the cover art and illustrations the Author has posted that made me want to buy her book. She is now traditionally published as well! Which is so awesome for her.

I own the 1st book as an indie and traditionally published. 2nd book indie published. 2nd book traditional is on pre-order. Also the Aurora Crate's special editions. The second special edition book from Aurora Crate doesn't release until next year I believe. They have such gorgeous illustrations on them.

✨My Review✨

It was easy to follow along and read. I really enjoyed it. Also kind of predictable too as well. lol. I'm very good at guessing things really early on. Which the ending of the book confirmed it. If you know you know. I'm not going to spoil it!

If you love magic, slow-burn, trials, fae, fated mates, dual POV. You'll love this one. Book 1 has no spice. 🌶️

Now onto reading the second!

5/5 Star reads. May-June 2026.

I am at 16 books read this year so far. Don't really have a goal but trying to get through my TBR [Which is 800+ and counting. lol]

These last 3 were so good. Currently reading: The Ballad of Falling Dragons [Sequel to When The Moon Hatched].
