Movement Church

Yesterday we were joined by Dr. Ken and Amy Lowe, missionaries to Portugal, during our worship service.

Ken shared about their ministry before leading us through Romans 5:1-5, which describes not only how a person is saved but also gives us the path to peace and unbreakable hope!

“Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have gained access by faith into this grace in which we now stand. And we boast in the hope of the glory of God. Not only so, but we also glory in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope. And hope does not put us to shame, because God’s love has been poured out into our hearts through the Holy Spirit, who has been given to us.” (Romans‬ ‭5‬:‭1‬-‭5‬ ‭NIV‬‬)

Today, we’re flashing back to our spring Sunday Serve Day as we prepare for our fall Serve Day on Sunday, October 4th!

Connect Groups are launching this Sunday morning!

Connect Groups are the small groups ministry of Movement Church, and they are an opportunity for us to grow together and get to know each other face-to-face.

The fall session will last 8 weeks, and we’ve got a variety of leaders, topics, and times for you to pick from.

Join us this Sunday morning as the group leaders present their groups in more detail. We’ll give you an opportunity to register for the group of your choice at the end.

Grab your Bible, your coffee, and tune in to Heartfelt Radio tomorrow morning for a Bible study led by our lead pastor!

We’ll be studying John 2:1-12, and you can tune in at 91.9 FM or at HeartfeltRadio.org.

Yesterday we continued our “Faith Forward” series with a message about the tests of faith God puts us through.

His purpose in these tests isn’t to punish us, but to reveal what is in our hearts and to refine us.
