Thank you to our Goodyear Heights Food Center Volunteers for working on Monday and Tuesday this week to serve those in need.
In 2025, our food center volunteers gave 16,110 hours to serve more than 12,481 families (43,780 individuals) during the 573 hours that we were open.
So our volunteers can spend time with their families, our food center will be closed from December 24th through January 4th.

The volunteers at our 6 locations serve more than 2,000 families every month.

The Good Neighbors Community Outreach and Food Center in Goodyear Heights appreciates the support from the Akron Schools students and faculty. So far, Firestone High School, NIHF Stem School Student Council, Akron Early College Student Council, McEbright CLC and Rimer CLC have held food drives for us!

Our Goodyear Heights Food Center will be closed on Veterans Day.
