Liquid Lab & Studio will be closed this weekend & The World of Tea: An Introduction workshop cancelled to be with our family after we called in hospice for our Grandmother. We apologize for any inconveniences and appreciate your grace and understanding during this difficult time.

Nothing is better than a hot beverage on a beautiful, chilly autumn day - come grab one of our delicious Adeni chais!

Our Adeni chai variation is based on recipes cultivated over hundreds of years from Aden, Yemen. We simmer Assam black tea with fresh, hand-ground cardamom, clove, & cinnamon for at least 30 minutes then add milk (whole or oat) & sweeten with homemade dark brown sugar syrup. Our recipe variation gives us the ability to accommodate dietary restrictions/ preferences, allowing everyone to enjoy this delicious beverage!

This Thursday we have the opportunity to contribute to the Women Business Center of Economic & Community Development Institute of Northern Ohio’s largest event “In the Company of Women” as part of their Member Showcase. Paige will have the opportunity to showcase some of her favorite recipes while being inspired by the tenacity, determination, & impact of fellow female entrepreneurs.

Because we are primarily a one-woman business (though we’re hopefully bringing on other flavor obsessed employees soon), will open later than usual on Wednesday (2 PM; to setup our booth) & closed Thursday (to vend & participate in the event).

We had many pasties (“past-ees”; unique hand pies found exclusively throughout Michigan’s UP), watched a couple sunrises, touched Great Lakes Superior & Huron (now Paige had touched all of the Great Lakes), unexpectedly saw river otters hunting together & catch a fish, saw many Trumpeter Swans, & saw one of GIANT Troll Scultures.
