JWCC Akron

Bringing women together in volunteerism and lifelong friendship since 1946. In 1946, Junior Women's Civic Club was founded by eight women with a unique vision.

These women saw the need for a service-minded organization dedicated to serving the community. From their bridge group sprung what is today JWCC. JWCC's projects support community agencies in the areas of Art, Education, Health, and Women and Children's issues.
